The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really going ahead.
